I am an adventurous travel journalist and photographer whose work and curiosity have taken me to over 60 countries. I have extensive experience as a multimedia photojournalist, photographer and documentary filmmaker.
My career started as a photojournalist for Media24 publications in South Africa in 2007. I have since spent a decade in Asia, travelling, exploring and continuing my studies in visual journalism. I studied multimedia journalism at ACFJ, Ateneo de Manila University and graduated with a masters degree in journalism in 2019.
My work in journalism shifted from hard news and investigative journalism to topics on the environment and sustainability, after a story I did on marine debris and pollution in Taiwan.
I moved to Germany, got married, and now my written work as a travel journalist focuses on eco-tourism, sustainability, culinary arts and exotic retreats. My photography focus on unique outdoor adventures to remote and unusual destinations.
