About Me

Namaste!

My name is Sneha Wadhwani and I am a certified yoga instructor currently based in Peterborough, Ontario.

I speak Hindi, Spanish, and French in addition to English and am comfortable communicating in any of those languages.

I provide customized, inclusive, and accessible classes online and in-person. The first class is always free and I am committed to working with you to meet your needs. To book a class, please fill out my contact form.

To tell you more about my experience, I have received my 200 hour International Yoga Alliance certification. I am certified to teach various yoga and meditation styles, and have been conducting in-person and online classes since I received my certification.

I like to say I have been practicing yoga since the womb because my mom took a pre-natal yoga class when she was pregnant with me in India. My grandfather first taught me the butterfly pose in our living room in Indore, India when I was 3, and we would watch Baba Ram Dev on our TV. I have gone to studios for instruction in yoga since I was 12.

I am passionate about bringing my background as an Indian into my teaching style. I strive to incorporate yogic philosophy into each class and to follow the traditional principles of yoga as they were taught to me in India.

I identify as a queer woman of colour. I have worked in community organizing on social justice and mindfulness topics since I was 14. I aim to make my classes as inclusive and accessible as possible, and am always open to feedback.

I strive to ensure my classes are decolonial, accessible, and trauma informed.

Workshops

I provide custom workshops bringing together the tools of guided meditation, journalling, yoga postures, pranayama (breathwork), and art.

I have previously provided workshops on topics such as New Year Reset and Release and Decolonized Queer Yoga.
