Hat Films is a group of 3 English content creators, producing daily comedy gameplay videos and travel vlogs for ~850k subscribers. I am one of two main video editors for the channel, with a focus on long-form gameplay videos for the Hat Films YouTube channel, and vertical short videos on YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and Tiktok. Daily gameplay videos gather ~35k views regularly.

I was part of a team of video editors who edited, fact-checked, and contributed some of the most captivating, influential, and persuasive news media during the 2019-2020 protests in Hong Kong, under some of the most breakneck pace, and intense time and political pressure. Edited 1-5 minute videos with 0.5-2 hour turnaround and completion time, and longer 5-8 minute non-daily videos with 4-8 hour completion time over 2-8 days, usually in parallel.

I was the Video Editor and Assistant Researcher for Hood Chronicles, a YouTube channel retelling stories of Canadian and Australian gangs, criminals, and killers. I am in charge of the entire editing process, including video editing, sound editing and mastering, motion graphics and animations, visual effects, etc. In addition, I am also responsible for researching all archival/news photos, portraits, videos, and fact-checking all events and information. All this work is condensed within a week, and released to 100k - 1M views.

I was the Video Editor for LFMMO, a YouTube channel focused on covering news around MMOs, and recommending the right MMO for people. I am responsible for the entire editing process, including video editing, audio editing/mastering, motion graphics, etc. In addition, I am in charge of sourcing all related B-rolls, including game trailers, gameplay footage, press photos, etc.

Created YouTube videos since 2011 ranging from gameplay, video essays, tutorials, machinima short films, and project trailers. Other projects include short films, short documentaries, stationary vlogs, etc.
